Artist Statement:

My passion for creating art has been my life since I was a teenager. I started my career in the fashion industry, having gained a 2:1 at Manchester Metropolitan University. I proceeded to find a job as a designer. This took me to the Far East and Europe, working in India, China, and the Philippines. With the birth of my first son, I went freelance. Creating prints and embroideries or the fashion world. I started to teach Life drawing and fashion illustration at Salford University and Manchester University on the Fashion Degree course., During this time I also worked with Zion arts, providing art education across a broad spectrum of groups. I moved to Cornwall in 2011 to pursue my own path. Investing in the correct materials to take my work to the next level. My current work is based on figurative abstract, pushing my perspective and working on larger pieces.
