The Fifth in the Jay-Z  Basquiat. Transformation (Parallel Crowns)
Parallel connections. Parallel perfections. Parallel attitudes. Parallel crowns.
Visual invention ultimately frames modern hip hop supremacy and legendary street art not as fleeting pop culture phenomena but as an elevated, mythological continuation of ancient African excellence.

Berlin is an incredibly innovative artist using unusual elements within his palette and within the motifs he uses in his artworks. The Jay-Z Basquiat series highlights this astounding connectivity with design, materials and images. These paintings are open to creating so much discussion of their own narrative that collectors are fuelling the continuation of the pop art hip hop enigma for the 21st century.

Oil paint, acrylic paint incorporating  crushed salt and pepper granite grit.
